Organizing Data

We have been learning about scientific investigations.  One step of the process is to record data.  This week we have organized data in appropriate tables, graphs, and diagrams.

Scientist – your task today is to explain when you should use each type of graph and where the x- and y-axis are located.

1. Line graph

2. Bar graph

3. Circle graph

4. y-axis

5. x-axis

Remember – don’t use the words left or sky to describe the axis.
