To help students understand how adaptations help animals, we conducted a bird adaptation investigation. Students used various tools (pliers, tweezers, chopsticks, clothespins, and spoons) to gather food (cooked rice, cooked noodles, bird seed, peanuts). Students then had to write about what they learned. It was a fun day!
I had fun doing the experiment. I hope we do another one soon.
I had fun doing the experiment and can’t wait for the next one.
I love the investigation. I like the music, too.
{P.S. Our pliers were HUGE.}
That was cool! I wish I could do that again.
That was fun. I never realized how hard it was to be a bird!
That was really weird.
